Who are we?

Vauhtifarmi is a family-owned company founded in 2006 in Perttula, Nurmijärvi, offering activity services and experience-based programs. At Vauhtifarmi, nature and the peaceful countryside come together with high-energy experiences. Vauhtifarmi's products are particularly well suited for bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthday groups, as well as small and medium-sized corporate groups (up to 500 people). The farm is run by siblings Anne and Ari Sahlström.

Anne

Anne works at Vauhtifarmi as an experience instructor and all-rounder. She responds to your emails, customizes your program, and is most often personally involved in delivering your day. Anne has over 30 years of experience in the corporate world as a sales and customer relations professional. In addition, she has a diverse sports background across several disciplines and even won a few Finnish Championship medals in karate in her youth. Today, Anne's passion is versatile physical activity such as gym training, group fitness classes, padel, golf, skiing, snowboarding, and spending time around horses through her daughter's equestrian hobbies.

Ari

Ari Sahlström works at Vauhtifarmi as a tandem pilot and experience instructor. Over the past 30 years, Ari has accumulated nearly 5,500 hours of flight experience and close to 3,000 tandem flights. Ari is a lifestyle paraglider, has been a member of the Finnish national paragliding team since 1998, and has been instructing paragliding since the same year. He has earned several Finnish and Nordic Championship medals in paragliding. Ari works as an experience instructor when he is not flying. He also designs the website, cooks, works as a bartender, maintains equipment, and innovates future ideas with the creativity of a true "mad inventor." By nature, Ari is a producer of experiences, and ensuring that customers enjoy themselves is his top priority.
